Winy Juan Antonio Enriquez’s little shop in Nuevo León, Mexico has earned him a solid customer base. He’s managed to win over the hearts of numerous patrons, some of whom remain committed to his business with steadfast loyalty.
Enriquez was getting ready to close up his store for the day when he had an unexpected encounter about a year ago. A stray dog suddenly appeared out of nowhere, looking for some affection and attention. The animal seemed to be famished and in dire need of food, so the store owner decided to offer him some nourishment. After gobbling up the meal in no time, the dog vanished into thin air.
In addition, it was clear that the furry friend recognized and appreciated Enriquez’s kindness. As a result, the dog began to visit the shop on its own for several days and even weeks. Enriquez warmly welcomed the pooch with delicious treats, which played a role in establishing a close bond of trust between them.
Enriquez shared that it wasn’t easy to earn the trust and love of Carlos, the pup. For more than a month, Carlos was hesitant to engage with him. But the persistence of Enriquez bore fruit when Carlos began to come to the store twice a day – once in the morning and then again at night, which thrilled Enriquez.
